The Position:

As the Manager, Human Resources at Panorama Eyecare, you will play a pivotal role in our mission to deliver the best eyecare. You'll be part of a collaborative team that values Partnership, Engagement, Excellence, and Stewardship. The successful Manager, Human Resources will serve as a HR business partner dedicated to supporting employees at 17 locations across the Panorama Eyecare platform. This position collaborates with the HR team regarding HR compliance, compensation, performance management, HRIS administration, compensation, employee relations, training, and leadership development. This role reports to the Vice President, Human resources and partners closely with the Employee Engagement Manager and Payroll and Benefits Manager to execute the overall goals of the HR department.

Responsibilities:

  • Serves as the primary point of contact for employee and manager inquiries related to employee relations, policies and procedures, performance management, and learning and development. Assists with managing the HR Email Mailbox.
  • Advises employees and managers on the interpretation of HR policies and procedures, coaches managers on disciplinary actions and terminations.
  • Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed.
  • Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations, in a collaborative work environment.
  •  Assists with the administration of the Performance Evaluation and Talent Assessment Program.
  • Co-facilitates New Team Orientation and leads the onboarding efforts for new employees.
  • Advises and supports organizational learning and leadership development, facilitates training developmental and compliance training as needed.
  • Serve as culture champion and change agent to align performance with business unit objectives.
  • Partners with the VP of HR and Employee Engagement Manager to implement cultural transformation projects and suggests tools for overall organizational culture development.
  • Consults with management, providing HR guidance when appropriate and serving as a brand champion for Panorama Eyecare.
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. 
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Develops and helps maintain the Paylocity HRIS system.
  • Assists with the management of Worker’s Compensation and Safety programs as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Performance/Skills Requirements:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Solid interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship building skills; ability to interact positively with teammates at all levels of the organization to foster a positive work environment.
  • Attention to detail with a passion for accuracy and analytics.
  • Self-starter with a process improvement mindset and ability to problem solve and present creative solutions
  • Computer skills within Microsoft Office and HRIS (Paylocity experience preferred)
  • Ability to lead and influence without authority
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with customer service and servant leader mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information.

Education/Certifications/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field or equivalent experience with High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources Management as a generalist or manager.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time with frequent stooping and stretching.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Requires the ability to distinguish letters or symbols.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to raise hands and arms to shoulder level without restriction, pain, or discomfort.
  • Ability to perform extended use of phones and computer keyboarding without pain or discomfort.
  • Ability to drive between company locations.

Additional Job Details:

  • This role has no direct reports and has a hybrid work schedule.
  • The position can have a primary work location in Lakewood or Fort Collins, CO
  • Compensation for this role will be $65,0000- $80,000 annually.
