JOB TITLE: Business Development Representative
DEPARTMENT: Business Development
Reports To: Business Development Manager
FLSA STATUS: Salary, Exempt
EFFECTIVE DATE: March 9, 2021
DESCRIPTION
The Business Development Representative assists with developing, coordinating, and implementing plans designed to increase existing business and capture new opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify profitable projects consisting of DEC, SEC, or maintenance scope.
- Assist in building solid relationships with customers, vendors, and distributors.
- Develop knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities.
- Assess supplier and vendor operations and recommend improvements as needed.
- Assist documentation required for requests for proposals (RFPs)
- Assist other departments with identifying and pursuing profitable projects.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships to grow business.
- Define the type and quantity of resources needed to manage and supervise a project.
- Ability to produce reporting on metrics and KPI's.
- Manage budgets, including those for funding and implementation of programs.
- Lift up to 10lbs
- Perform basic office duties, including typing, copying, emailing, etc.
- Communicate regularly and effectively as appropriate.
- Maintain the standards, culture, and values of CML Security
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or related experience preferred.
- 1 year of proven business development, sales or marketing experience preferred.
- Construction industry experience preferred.
- Strong skills in MS office, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Valid Driver's License
- OSHA-10 certification
