POSITION OVERVIEW:
Omeda Account Executives are responsible for bringing our enterprise software platform to professional content creators. This role works on the front lines of our business and is vital for driving additional client acquisition and revenue growth. As an Account Executive you will identify, source and close good- fit prospects. Using strong consultative selling skills, you will balance contacting warm inbound leads and driving self-sourced leads for your pipeline, while also partnering closely with internal stakeholders to
achieve team goals and work towards Omeda’s mission.
An attractive candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of proven and measurable experience, comfort with technical data-oriented products, the ability to provide a high-level demo, excellent communication skills, and a desire to work within a fast paced and data-driven sales environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• This candidate is ideally based in NYC or surrounding areas
• Proactively source high quality leads of your own, in addition to pursuing assigned in-bound leads and MQL’s
• Hit or exceed base sales activity KPI’s related to ongoing outreach, meeting volume, and, proposal volume that is required to surpass your booking goals
• Personally run tailored product demos - navigating prospects through different aspects of the Omeda platform that are relevant to their business
• Manage personal activity data and prospect updates in Salesforce, ensuring those data points are always current and accurate
• Build and present impressive proposals to your engaged prospects
• Manage prospect follow-up, questions, requests, additional demos, and all other touch points that move them forward in our sales process
• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to schedule demos and provide deeper technical answers to prospects
• Conduct proactive research of industry events, industry publications, competitors, and other sources to generate new leads and stay current on important topics related to our offerings.
• Go above and beyond with qualification of your leads using tools such as ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, personal connections, and any other information sources possible
• Negotiate pricing and fees with your prospects
• Assist with execution of periodic research projects and data collection efforts that support the whole sales team and our objectives at that time
• Attend all internal sales team meetings and planning sessions, working side by side with the Head of Sales and other involved executives
• Attend 5 Industry events per year for prospecting, client relationship building, speaking opportunities and general Omeda brand building efforts
• Be a credible, persuasive, and respectful representative of Omeda every day
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS & EXPECTATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 years of proven sales performance in technology products, SaaS/DaaS, digital marketing or a related industry
• Experience working within a data-focused sales organization that closely tracks activity KPI’s, pacing, and ongoing performance for all team members individually and as a collective team.
• Familiarity with prospecting tools such as ZoomInfo and Linkedin Sales Navigator
• Strong experience with Salesforce, or a similar sales focused CRM, as well as common processes and reporting used within the platform for sales efficiency
• Clear, mature communication style that will be respected by executive level contacts from our prospect accounts – both written and verbal
• Ability to speak confidentially with a wide range of client types, from a variety of industries, and with varying levels of technology comfort
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple prospect processes simultaneously, while staying calm and composed
• Self-Directed - take initiative to solve problems and uncover opportunities without excessive direction, eager to take ownership for your book of business and the goals you agree to accomplish.
• Personal experience with marketing technology, digital media, advertising business models and SaaS solutions is a large plus
• Existing personal knowledge of subscription products, such as newsletters / gated websites / magazines, is also a plus
• Position may be remote but must have the ability to travel on occasion

COMPENSATION: Competitive base commission
