Non-Profit Organization, Syracuse, New York is Hiring a Human Resources Director Near Syracuse, NY

Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Director of Human Resources to join our team. As the Director of Human Resources, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our HR department and implementing effective HR strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives. This is a leadership role that requires exceptional program management skills, strong communication abilities, and a deep understanding of HR best practices.

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in business or Human Resources OR equivalent experience required. PHR or SPHR certification desired.

Previous Experience Requirement:

  • Must have at least of 4 years experience in human resources management including designing, developing, implementing and evaluating all aspects of Workforce/Employment Practices, Performance Management, human Resources Development and Compensation and Benefits.

Knowledge and Skills Needed to Perform Effectively:

  • Above Average interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively multi-task with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Must be able to work in a multi-cultural setting.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Must possess working knowledge of the principles, theories, and practices of all related Human Resources best practices.
  • Must be able to stay current with all Human Resources related issues, including employee rights and employment regulatory matters within NYS.
  • PC skills to include Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint; HRIS software, email, and internet research and ability to create and set up web conference calls.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule and attend meetings and other events evenings and potentially weekends.
  • Maintains a safe and secure working environment
  • Complete all other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $62,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
