Director Human Resource (HR) Responsibilities:
Lead all recruitment efforts by posting job ads, attending job fairs, visiting colleges, as well as, conducting interviews.
Responsible for successful onboarding, as well as, completion of exit interviews.
Accountable for collecting timekeeping information, maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality as it relates to payroll.
Supervise the work of HR personnel and provide guidance.
Act as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with the labor union.
Collaborate with, and support specific departments with union grievances and work violations invoking progressive disciplinary action.
Ensure adherence to facility policies and corporate compliance.
Administer company benefits and oversee worker’s compensation claims.
Report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics.
Director Human Resource (HR) Requirements:
3 years of HR related experience
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or a related field.
SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
Knowledge of state and federal employment and labor law.
Thorough knowledge of HR management principles and best practices
