EducationCounsel is seeking an Administrative Support Assistant to join the team in Washington, DC. EducationCounsel LLC is a mission-driven education organization that works with leading nonprofits, foundations, and policymakers to help significantly improve education opportunities and outcomes for all students. We do this by leveraging policy, strategy, law, and advocacy to help transform education systems, from early learning, to K-12, to postsecondary. We work with partners at the state, federal, and local levels to advance evidence-based innovations and systems-change, with a central focus on equity. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter who possesses well-developed critical thinking, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. You have a strong sense of accountability, take ownership over projects and responsibilities, resolve issues proactively, and know how to be a true team player. You’re a technology pro and have no problem learning new software. You utilize your keen eye for detail to further teamwork, client services, and efficiency. You are comfortable working as part of a dynamic team and supporting internal facing processes necessary for overall team success. A two- or four-year degree is desired, however work experience may be substituted for education.
