Bizzell is seeking an Administrative Support Specialist I, who will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations at the U. S. Department of Transportation, Federal Highway Administration, Mission Support Team. This role involves handling incoming calls, responding to inquiries, and assisting in various administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and photocopying.

Duties/Responsibilities:
•Answer and direct incoming calls and inquiries; filing, photocopying, binding, scanning, respond to emails on daily basis; set-up VTC for virtual conference meetings.
•Assist with various reporting equipment; call in for repairs on equipment as needed.
•Check weekly or bi-weekly FHWA BI Stakeholder engagement tool; enter all data input as the information comes in.
•As part of the Mission Support Team (MIST), support the Headquarters component of the HFL, provide direct support to the AA for HFL, Office of Administration, Office of Planning, Environment, and Realty (HEP), Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Office of Policy and Governmental Affairs, and Office of Public Affairs; assist the office HPA with timecard entries using Castle System.
•Name Tag Service request, receive list of names of offices and transfer to name tag and replace all HCF, HAHR and HCFA desk name tags.
•Document E2Voucher Travel for in-office travels; log reports of USA Spending into spreadsheets for SS4A grant when assigned.
•POC/Escort for fingerprints or PIV Cards mailing fingerprints and escorting individuals while onsite.
Required Skills/Abilities:
•Proficiency in Windows 10, internet research, and data entry.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
•Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and SharePoint.
•Proven ability to produce quality work under deadlines.
•Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
Education and Experience:
•High school diploma or equivalent.
•One (1) to two (2) years of relevant professional experience required.
Physical Requirements:
•Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
•Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
