The Accounts Payable Specialist I is directly responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and interacting with the Accountants and the Community and Regional Managers.

Essential Responsibilities

• Process and review accounts payable batches submitted for specific properties.
• Enter and process invoices in a timely basis and according to Company policy.
• Communicate with Community and Regional Managers to ensure that purchase orders are approved in a timely manner.
• Respond to vendor inquires and research issues as needed.
• Maintain accounts payable electronic and paper files.
• Provide new Community Managers with accounts payable training.
• Performs any additional duties assigned by the Accounts Payable Supervisor.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or Equivalent Training
• Excellent communication and interpersonal management skills

Compensation and Benefits

• $20-$22/hour DOE
