Summary:
The Director of Academic Support manages the daily activities and services of the Learning Enhancement Center (LEC) and co-directs the Mentor Program (MP) with the Director of the Library at the Manhattan and Bronx campuses. Working under the direction of the Dean of Academic Affairs, the Director aligns all initiatives with the College’s strategic plan. The Director develops, implements, and assesses initiatives both independently and in collaboration with deans and program directors, departmental directors, coordinators, and staff. The Director also ensures that OAS maintains a high level of visibility and fosters a positive and welcoming learning environment for all students.

MCNY is operating in a hybrid work format as it has since July 2020. Currently, this role works at least 3 days a week on campus in the Academic Affairs office at Manhattan and Bronx Campus with up to 2 days of remote work per week.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $61K- $64K. Metropolitan College of New York considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
