Candidate will be responsible for preparing design documents for projects in power generation. Multi-discipline projects in hydro, gas and fossil power generating facility experience is required. Needs to be able to apply this National Electrical Code (NFPA 70) to design requirements. Duke, TVA, Constellation, Dominion or other power industry experience is desired. Desired experience includes low voltage and medium voltage power distribution, motor controls for both low voltage and medium voltage, interfacing industrial processes to DCS and/or PLC systems. Need to be familiar with panel design, conduits and cable-tray design. Familiarity with 3D environment is a plus.
Candidate needs to be a team player, working within a team, and comfortable being in front of peers and clients. Work will mostly center around modifications and upgrades in existing facilities.
