Floral Designer

We are currently seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Floral Designer. As a key member of our floral department, you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills and bring beauty to our customers' lives through your unique floral creations.

Responsibilities:

- Design and create stunning floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday floral needs.

- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and preferences, providing expert advice and suggestions to ensure their floral expectations are exceeded.

- Source and select high-quality flowers, foliage, and other materials, considering color palettes, seasonal availability, and budgetary guidelines.

- Arrange flowers in an artistic manner, considering balance, texture, and visual impact, while incorporating design principles such as color harmony and proportion.

- Maintain the freshness and longevity of floral arrangements by following proper conditioning and care techniques.

- Manage inventory levels, ensuring an adequate supply of flowers, vases, and accessories while minimizing waste.

- Assist with general shop duties, including cleaning work areas, organizing supplies, and processing floral deliveries.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a floral designer or in a related floral design role is highly desirable.

- Strong knowledge of different types of flowers, foliage, and plants, including their care and handling requirements.

- Creativity and a keen eye for detail, with the ability to create unique and visually captivating floral designs.

- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their floral preferences.

- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising the quality of the floral arrangements.

- Knowledge of current floral design trends and a passion for staying updated on the latest industry developments.

- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects, such as buckets of flowers and containers.
