M Force Staffing is Hiring a HR Administrative Assistant Near Knoxville, TN

HR Administrative Assistant
Provide administrative support to the HR department through operating various systems and software. Will be working closely with other support departments and will need to multi-task efficiently. Responsible for processing terminations, leave requests, Kronos coding and other general administrative tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Organize and maintain personnel records 
  • Update internal databases (e.g. record sick or maternity leave)
  • Prepare HR documents, like disciplines, new employee information 
  • Revise company policies and/or documents
  • Liaise with external partners, like insurance vendors, and ensure legal compliance
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
  • Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
  • Assist payroll, benefits, compensation, and other internal HR departments by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick days and work schedules) 
  • Participate in HR projects (e.g. help organize a job fair event) Requirements and skills 

Education/Experience:

  • Education - BS Degree is a plus but not required ( with focus on HR ). HS diploma required
  • 1-2 years Proven work experience as an HR Administrator, HR Administrative Assistant or relevant role 
  • Experience with HR software, like ORACLE and ADP
  • Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)
  • Thorough knowledge of labor laws
  •  Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects 
  • Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills
