Lutheran Community Services Northwest is Hiring an Immigration Program Assistant (Multilingual) Near Seattle, WA
THE ROLE: The Immigration Program Assistant will be responsible for providing support services to DOJ accredited representatives, attorneys, and program manager in Seattle. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Provide basic service for clients of Immigration Program, including reception, appointment setting, telephone communications, and intake screeningMaintain BlueDot client database and file systemsTranslate documents as neededAssist DOJ accredited representatives and attorneys working with refugee and parolee immigration cases with client communicationsAttend workshops or training as neededUse all appropriate office equipment as needed to assist with the efficient flow of client paperworkModel and encourage direct, professional communication among staff members and facilitate development of a positive staff support networkDemonstrate awareness and sensitivity in the delivery of client services as it relates to the cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the populations servedAttend Safe Route Immigration (SRI) all-staff meetings and other meetings as requested by Seattle SRI Program ManagerOther tasks as assigned by SRI Program Manager QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
