The Program Assistant III position works independently and is expected to use initiative and sound judgment in carrying-out responsibilities and to keep abreast of changes in regulations, protocols, laws, and procedures related to work responsibilities. Major role of this position is oversite of Fred Hutch company vehicles, shuttle service program, and patient valet operations. In addition, backup duties to support office staff with badging, transportation, and security needs.

May perform some or all of the following responsibilities:

Implement, administer, manage, and maintain fleet program, shuttle service, and patient valet services.
• Carry-out complex special assignments or projects, requiring department knowledge and expertise.
• Edit and update information on Fred Hutch's intranet.
• Gather information and produce reports on department operation and performance.
• Assist department manager in operational needs related to fleet and transportation.
• Assist Program Assistant I and II's as backup to daily duties related to badge, Orca cards, and parking assignments.
• Perform other responsibilities as required.

• BA/BS degree or experience equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of experience.
• Experience in program assistance or program oversite.
• Ability to adapt to new technology platforms and to quickly learn new software programs.
• Self-starter, driven, and takes initiative with dedicated tasks.
• Skills generally necessary will include organizational skills, computer skills and strong written and oral communication skills.

The hourly pay range for this position is from $25.71 to $36.60 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
