Logix Fiber Networks is Hiring a Major Account Manager, Sales Near Houston, TX

Job Summary:

As a Major Account Manager specializing in business communications and technology solutions, you will be responsible for developing and managing key client relationships within the realm of voice communications, video communications, business ethernet, managed cloud technology, managed Wi-Fi, cybersecurity, SD-WAN, and business internet services. Your primary objective is to drive revenue growth, foster client satisfaction, and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling relevant products and services.

Competencies:

  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with major accounts. Understand client needs, objectives, and pain points to provide tailored solutions that align with their business goals.
  • Sales and Revenue Generation: Meet and exceed sales targets by actively prospecting new clients and expanding business with existing accounts. Utilize consultative selling techniques to position our suite of communications and technology solutions effectively.
  • Solution Consultation: Collaborate with clients to understand their technical requirements and propose comprehensive solutions encompassing voice communications, video communications, business ethernet, managed cloud technology, managed Wi-Fi, cybersecurity, SD-WAN, and business internet services.
  • Product Knowledge and Expertise: Maintain a deep understanding of the company's product portfolio and stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings. Leverage this knowledge to effectively communicate value propositions to clients.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage sales pipeline and forecasting activities accurately. Utilize CRM tools to track client interactions, opportunities, and deal progress.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams such as sales engineers, product managers, and customer support to ensure seamless delivery of solutions and exceptional client experience.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay informed about market dynamics, competitor strategies, and regulatory developments within the telecommunications and technology sectors. Use this insight to adapt sales strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and contract agreements with clients while ensuring alignment with company policies and profitability objectives.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Give reporting and deal funnel updates to supervisor when requested.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Constructs customer base, attract new customers, and meet monthly sales quota.
  • Present LOGIX value proposition to customers needing to improve their telecom connectivity solutions.
  • Managess and update sales funnel using company’s CRM system to accurately forecast and follow-up with prospects.
  • Takes leads from Inside Sales Team and qualify and offer prospects appropriate LOGIX products.
  • Collaborates with Sales Engineer, Sales Support Representatives and Sales Manager to develop customer solutions.
  • Participate as a team to develop skills, assist customers in acquiring great service/products at a great price, and achieve success.
  • Performs other related duties assigned to increase success.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of different selling techniques, especially Sandler Sales System.
  • Experience cold-calling, directing sales meetings, senior-level prospecting, and leading sales discussions.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel.
  • Excellent customer service/relations abilities, exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of organization, its products, services, and operations.
  • Skilled in marketing, negotiation and decision-making capabilities.
  • Good organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Analytical abilities and understanding of accounting principles related to financial transactions.
  • Valid driver's license and responsible driving record.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven track record of success of 7-10 years in Enterprise sales, preferably within the telecommunications or technology industry.
  • Strong understanding of business communications technologies such as voice communications, video communications, business ethernet, managed cloud technology, managed Wi-Fi, cybersecurity, SD-WAN, and business internet.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of working at a desk and on a computer.
