By using Lofty to automate marketing programs, streamline the sales process, and maximize collaboration, agents can quickly convert more leads into transactions.

We are expanding our business development team and looking for a highly motivated, talented, and tenacious business development representative to join our enterprise sales group! Job Overview:

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of residential real estate practices, the key buyer personas (real estate agents, team leaders, and brokers), and the challenges they face. They will also have a track record of outbound sales achievement, using excellent communication and consultative selling skills to build and maintain relationships with prospective clients and their executives. You should be self-motivated, results-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment. Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to qualify leads from marketing campaigns and refine the quality of prospect targeting and assessment
  • Work primarily outbound leads to identify, contact, and qualify potential new customers
  • Apply a hunter and business owner mentality to self-source leads and augment marketing initiatives
  • Schedule product demonstrations between sales representatives and potential customers, building 3-4X pipeline necessary to achieve quarterly goals
  • Partner with sales and marketing teams to identify qualified sales prospects using ABM/ABS strategies
  • Understand the art of sales discovery to properly serve up qualified prospects to our sales team
  • Leverage social selling techniques to identify and engage new prospects
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
  • Use our proprietary CRM and other tools to manage and maintain a pipeline of leads and opportunities 

Requirements

  • 3-5 years proven experience in a B2B sales and quota environment selling to residential real estate organizations, with a track record of consistently exceeding expectations. 
  • Strong understanding of the residential real estate market and key buyer personas, most specifically brokerages and executives within those organizations
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales and prospecting techniques (including cold calls)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver engaging presentations
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Hubspot)
  • Comfortable working with MS Excel (creating and updating spreadsheets)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant field experience preferred.
