POSITION SUMMARY:

This position will serve as a liaison to technicians and internal staff providing support and responding to requests for assistance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communication with technicians to provide support for issues they may have in the field.
  • Take inventory of tools, ordering of tools for technicians as well as keep proper stock levels in HSV Admin storeroom.
  • Submit approvals for tools to be purchased not available through regular purchasing channels.
  • Receive and process all vans returned to HSV – inspect for damages, inventory of tools, unloading of vehicle, ensure running properly, request graphics if needed.
  • New hire readiness - coordination with other departments to ensure new hires have uniforms, computer, phone, corporate cards, required tools, and van before start date.
  • Receive all shipments of Grainger orders and 3rd party orders.
  • Ship all tool requests and packages to technicians documenting all outgoing shipments and tracking information.
  • Train, monitor and support internal Admin staff to ensure proper workflow.
  • Communication and ordering with outside vendors.
  • Monitor gas fuel usage of technicians, Zendesk tickets, and distribute toll passes.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records of shipping logs and vehicle Masterfile.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven administrative experience Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability.
  • Aptitude for learning new software and systems.
  • Previous success in supervisory role.
  • Experience managing budgets and expenses.
  • Comfortable handling confidential information.
