• Maintain and secure assets, minimizing outstanding receivables and investment inventories.
• Coordinate and direct day-to-day accounting & finance activities for Income Audit, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll.
• Oversee preparation of accurate and timely monthly financial statements.
• Oversee bank account and balance sheet reconciliations following PHG standards and policies.
• Ensure timely and accurate calculation, reporting, and payment of taxes.
• Develop and maintain internal controls in all departments.
• Maintain all contracts, leases, and other legal and financial records.
• Implement and support property operating policies and procedures.
• Operate in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws and government regulations.
• Ensure property complies with the Management Contract.
• Assist the Director of Finance in the development of Risk Management program. Maintain insurance (general liability, property, and Worker's Compensation) programs.
• Assist the Director of Finance in the preparation of Budgets and Forecasts in conjunction with operating departments.
• Coordinate all financial audits regarding outside concerns.
• Coordinate all internal financial training and development of department heads and managers.
• Prepare periodic presentations at owner's meetings.
• Work with the Sales Department to develop programs and procedures to maximize the Property's revenue.

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• College degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Four years' experience as a hotel/resort controller.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
