Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. The Pastry Cook will be responsible for preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and baked goods in accordance with the menu and recipes provided.

Duties:

- Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, cookies, and other desserts
- Decorate pastries using various techniques to ensure an appealing presentation
- Follow recipes and adhere to food safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely food production
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

- Proficiency in food preparation techniques and pastry baking
- Knowledge of food safety guidelines and procedures
- Experience in cake decorating and dessert presentation
- Strong understanding of kitchen operations within the food industry
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
- Excellent knife skills for precise cutting and shaping of ingredients
- Previous experience in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred
