THE ROLE

This individual will play a key role in the organization and oversee strategic business initiatives from development through successful execution under the guidance of GM. Will help to improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity. This individual will quickly figure out what needs to be done, put frameworks in place, and kick-off programs to set up teams for success

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Drive Operational Excellence

• Key facilitator b/t various teams and functions
• Identify and help solve core problems or opportunities within business processes, including streamlining workflows to look for time/cost savings
• Continually look for opportunities to innovate and improve processes

Drive Business Rhythm (D&A)

• Review/validate key performance indicators and drive alignment/consistency in reporting across teams
• Support management of delivering OKRs - ranging from monitoring progress, involvement in key projects and prioritization/risk mitigation
• Support analytics and cross channel/functional financial performance including involvement with marketing, commerce and performance media teams

Drive Executive Strategies & Initiatives

• Assist with business strategy and help facilitate both short/long-term planning including collaboration with LT on ideation, prioritization, development and implementation
• Provide support and oversight for special projects and initiatives
• Validate assumptions and provide scenario analysis used in new business initiatives

Technical Skills

• 10 years in business, product or operations planning, MBA a plus
• Self-starter mentality; thrives in unfamiliar territory and willing to ask the "why"
• Demonstrable experience of delivering complex, enterprise wide changing programs is essential
• Experience engaging with and influencing key stakeholders & leadership team
• Strong focus on execution and results
• Strong organization skills: self-directed and capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment while juggling multiple projects
• Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives, high attention to detail with structured and creative thinking
• Experience with data analysis & budget management
• Experience with human health or related disruptive domain or pet tech is a big plus
