Our construction company is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a wide range of construction projects, including highways and municipal infrastructure. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of construction projects, from planning to completion
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and timelines
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
- Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely completion
- Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and address concerns
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders
- Hire and supervise subcontractors and other project staff
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise
- Ensure quality control and manage risk throughout the project lifecycle
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in commercial project management, preferably in the construction industry
- Knowledge of Michigan DOT and MDOT regulations and standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software
- Experience with civil site design and underground utility projects
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Understanding of construction safety regulations and procedures
