Are you an accounting professional with a passion for numbers and a knack for problem-solving? We are seeking a dynamic Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, growing organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all transactions. This role will also play a crucial part in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and month-end/year-end close processes. Responsibilities:
1. Oversee the accounts payable process, ensuring all invoices are accurately processed and paid in a timely manner.
2. Perform financial reporting duties, preparing comprehensive financial statements and reports.
3. Maintain the general ledger, reviewing entries for accuracy and making necessary adjustments.
4. Manage expense reports, verifying all expenses are accurate and properly documented.
5. Conduct month-end and year-end close procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurately reported and reconciled.
6. Generate invoices and account statements, ensuring they are sent out in a timely manner.
7. Utilize Excel and Google Workspace for data analysis and report generation.
8. Work with Sage Intacct to manage financial processes and data.
9. Collaborate with other finance team members and departments to improve financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar.
3. Proficiency in Accounts Payable Processing, Financial Reporting, and General Ledger Accounting.
4. Experience with Expense Reports and Month-end/Year-end close procedures.
5. Ability to generate invoices and account statements.
6. Proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace.
7. Experience with Sage Intacct or equivalent accounting software.
8. Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
10. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
11. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
