The AP Supervisor will oversee a large AP team (5-8 team members). This person will work very closely with the Account Payable Manager to manage the day to day accounts payable process.

• Lead AP disbursement, tackle invoice discrepancies, manage annual 1099 filings, and oversee tax-related matters and vendor lien releases, aligning with the Company's cash flow goals.
• Conduct monthly closure of accounts payable, executing month-end entries promptly.
• Ensure timely, precise, and efficient meeting of all deadlines. Develop and implement operational procedures to enhance controls and operational efficiency.
• Strategically select, develop, and assess personnel to ensure the accurate and efficient operation of the accounts payable function.
• Cultivate and sustain business relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, fostering connections with project managers, various departments, and external vendors.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to proactively identify, investigate, and resolve processing issues.
• Train and appraise employees to boost their performance, growth, and quality of work.
• Evaluate staff productivity, streamlining processes, and championing efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Maintain and update desktop procedures, ensuring accurate documentation of current processes.
• Oversee the cash disbursements cycle, maximizing discount opportunities, reconciling outstanding debit memos, and coordinating stop-payments and purchase order adjustments.
• Actively participate in the monthly/annual accounting period close process and provide support during annual audits.
