We are seeking a Accounts Payable Manager to join our finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in accounts payable, vendor management, and implementing policies and procedures.
As the Accounts Payable Manager, you will have a broad range of responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
1. Overseeing the entire accounts payable process and ensuring that all payments are made in a timely and accurate manner.
2. Managing the accounts payable team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
3. Developing, implementing, and maintaining accounts payable policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
4. Working closely with other departments and vendors to resolve any issues or discrepancies.
5. Overseeing vendor management and building strong relationships with vendors.
6. Preparing and presenting regular reports on accounts payable performance and initiatives to senior management.
7. Continuously improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the accounts payable process through the use of technology and best practices.
8. Assisting with financial audits and providing all necessary accounts payable documentation.
The ideal candidate for the Accounts Payable Manager position will have the following qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing accounts payable in a similar role.
2. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
3. Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.
4. Experience in establishing and maintaining accounts payable policies and procedures.
5. Proven experience in managing vendor relationships.
6. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
7. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
8. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
