Seeking a full time Accounts Payable Bookkeeper in a fast-paced office environment. Perform weekly Payroll functions for multiple companies, around 50 to 75 employees. Gather, reconcile, post to general ledger accounting system and prepare checks for weekly and monthly vendor invoices for multiple companies. As a candidate gains experience they will be exposed to other "functions" within the AP department, i.e. processing tax payments, bank reconcilements, month-end entries in general ledger...
This position requires the following:
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-pace environment
- High degree of accuracy
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word (some work in Microsoft Access)
- Quickbooks experience would be a positive, but not a disqualifier
- High customer service skills
- Ability to work well with others in a small office environment
- Team player
- Dependability
- Understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounts receivable principles
The Company is willing to Train a candidate in any of the above functions if needed.
