Job Summary
The Inside Sales Representative is primarily responsible for generating new leads, communicating with customers, understanding customer needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process. In addition, this position will source for recycled product and provide administrative support for the Quality Reel Solutions (QRS) Houston Office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
· Communicate with customers and suppliers, making outbound calls to potential customers, following up on leads and sourcing recycled products.
· Develop meaningful relationships with customers to encourage trust and loyalty.
· Understand the product and make recommendations to customers based upon their needs.
· Manage all communication including emails, phone calls, and messages related to customer orders and shipments.
· Enter sales order data into ERP and maintain data integrity in sales software.
· Order, receive, and maintain adequate inventory levels of manufacturing consumables and MRO levels.
· Organize and maintain files and databases in a confidential manner.
· Represent the company in a professional manner in all aspects of communication with customers and personnel.
· Follow instructions and comply with GM directives.
· Additional duties as required.
Education, Experience, & KSA's
· High School Diploma or GED required.
· 2-3 years’ experience in a sales related position
· Strong customer service experience with knowledge of customer service standards and procedures.
· Outstanding technical, problem solving, and analytical skills.
· Excellent organizational skills and ability to pay close attention to details.
· Dependable with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite with strong excel skills.
· QuickBooks and Sales Software experience is a plus.
· Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
· Employee must be able to work to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
· Must be able to work in shop environment: i.e., heat & cold, dust, and noise.
· Protective equipment required for sight and hearing when walking and working around industrial woodworking and wood products manufacturing operations.
