People Operations Generalist

About the Team: 

We are looking for a talented and versatile People Operations Generalist to execute and manage our Immigration, Onboarding, and Engagement programs. We are scaling our teams in our AMER/APAC regions and are looking for an HR professional with experience in an international company.

Opportunity Statement

The ideal candidate must have experience in designing and implementing global HR operation strategies to provide best-in-class support to the organization and its employees. We are super excited for the positive impact this role will have on the overall growth of the business and the development of our Ivalua employees.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for all Immigration matters; ensuring compliance with immigration laws and regulations, and providing exceptional service to our employees, candidates, and managers.
  • Manage visa applications, work permits, green card applications, international transfers, etc. Prepare and submit immigration petitions, forms, and supporting documentation accurately & timely.
    ● Direct efforts to continually standardize processes across the global organization and identify trends and areas of inefficiency for process improvements with key stakeholder input.
    ●Develop and manage a quality People Operations infrastructure: Onboarding, Offboarding, Systems, Process and Programs; including but not limited to Benefits, Compensation, Immigration, Compliance, and HRIS Administration.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, recognition programs, and events, to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Managing the onboarding process from start to finish, including new hire documentation, orientation sessions, and providing support to new hires as they acclimate to their roles.

Skills You Need to Succeed:

  • At least 4 years strong working experience of all People Operations functional areas including Onboarding, Engagement, and particularly Immigration.
  • At least 3 years managing Immigration processes

Desirable Skills: 

  • Experience setting and implementing company policies.
    ● Strong project management skills with ability to track concurrent project timelines, resource allocations, and critical milestones.
    ● Global mindset – ability to adapt to various people and cultures with a cohesive view in mind.
    ● Attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.
    ● An experienced HR immigration professional who enjoys working with individuals and managers on all aspects of immigration and visa sponsorship

Preferred Education:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
    ● 4 years of HR experience, ideally with hyper growth technology companies

The compensation range for this position reflects the cost of labor across our US locations and is based upon careful and continual market research. In addition to location, compensation may also vary based upon job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Title: People Operations Generalist

Range minimum: USD 67500

Range maximum: USD 112500

Additional compensation / rewards: Ivalua also offers exceptional benefits including medical, dental, vision and transportation.
