Job Description:
IEG Services is a division of Impact Environmental Group that provides nationwide compactor, baler and lift service to a variety of channels. We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager with strong service knowledge to drive revenue growth, develop effective sales strategies, and ensure the long-term success of the organization within the retail and industrial market. The ideal candidate should possess a commitment to continuous learning, adaptability to market changes, a strategic mindset and contribute to the overall success of the business.
Responsibilities
  • Create new sales channels with retail, industrial and property management companies.
  • Identify and explore opportunities for expanding market reach and customer base.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Utilize market insights to guide strategic sales initiatives.
  • Develop sales opportunities through cold calling, qualifying, prospecting and relationship building.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and trends.
  • Ensure business reviews are completed for all strategic accounts.
  • Use insights from reviews to enhance customer relationships and sales strategies.
  • Interact with the services business and other internal business units to stay familiar with all product offerings.
  • Manage and maintain the business development pipeline.
  • Regularly update and maintain the company’s CRM with sales activities
  • Understand financial metrics related to sales; revenue, profit margin and cost of sales.
  • Manage forecasts and reporting to meet or exceed annual budgeted sales revenue and margin targets.
  • Utilize strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Explore and implement innovative sales strategies to stay ahead in the market.
  • Meet or exceed annual budgeted sales revenue and margin dollar performance.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in developing effective sales strategies.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation skills for dealing with clients, partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of sales processes, including lead generation and pipeline management.
  • Analytical mindset for assessing sales data and performance metrics.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and adaptation to market changes.
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge and experience selling services.
  • Experience in B2B sales.
  • Familiarity with retail, big box stores and facility management operations.
