Talent Manager

Qualifications

•Experience and Education3 years of HR experience in California including talent management, performance management, use of social media, networking, employee referrals and job postings

•Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field

•Skills and Qualifications:Proficient verbal and written communication skills

•Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

•Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills

•Strong presentation skills

•Excellent leadership skills

•Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

•Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations

•Additional elements:After a candidate is selected, employment will be made contingent on the satisfactory completion of required background checks

•Background checks will vary depending on the position and may include criminal history, credit history, driving record, drug testing or any other relevant information for the job

Responsibilities

•The essential functions related to this role will focus on: Participate in organizational structure planning

•Produce benchmark analysis reports of compensation per position

•Conduct specific analysis on roles, titles, compensation levels per department to ensure it is aligned with the market and internal equity principles

•Manage recruiting process for full-time, temporary, contractual and intern personnel for all positions

•Oversees full life cycle recruitment (post, source, prescreen, schedule, background, references, offer, on-boarding)Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies and techniques to build a pipeline of qualified candidates

•Coach hiring managers on how to select best talent in a compliant, professional, and business need oriented way

•Develop effective relationships within the organization and the hiring community

•Evaluate and screen staffing agencies that comply to our organizational standards

•Provide professional support in the design, development, and implementation of the talent review process

•Manage the maintenance and execution of current job descriptions, standards of performance and performance evaluation instruments

•Support supervisors regarding readiness for individual promotions, department changes, performance issue of team levels and propose measures and timelines

•Support HR Director on all employee relations, including required internal investigations

•Support HR Director on research and assist in the development of training programs that focus on enabling the workforce to achieve improvements with priority organizational concerns
