Position: Talent Acquisition Specialist
Maintain pipeline of talented, eager candidates for all teams regardless of current hiring needs, enhance our brand as an employer of choice for those who are serious about their career development and growth opportunities, and help enhance the PKILD experience for current teammates.
Essential Functions:
- Continuously source potential candidates from LinkedIn, Indeed, law schools, networking, our own postings and more
- Write, maintain, and update job postings and ads
- Conduct initial phone interviews; make recommendations for further interviews
- Schedule interviews
- Maintain communication with candidates
- Participate in on-boarding
- Build and maintain relationships with placement offices and career advisors at Cal Western, USD, USC, UCLA, Pepperdine, UC Hastings (formerly), UC Berkeley, Santa Clara, etc.
- Provide hands-on presence and participation in job fairs, summer program events, diversity events, etc.
- Attend attorney/Bar/Lawyer Club events
- Plan/host PKILD events for summer clerks and recent graduates
- Manage administrative tasks related to recruiting, such as submitting invoices and arranging payments for various law school or networking events
- Participate in clerkship programs
- Create plan to increase internal referrals and employee outreach to classmates, colleagues, and friends
- Monitor Glass Door reviews and share feedback with management team
- Add/maintain market competition research
Skills/Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certifications):
- 4-year college degree
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to properly draft, proofread job postings, correspondence, flyers, etc.
- Ability to professionally and articulately represent our firm and practice groups
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Ability to handle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality required
- Friendly and enthusiastic personality
- Excellent organizational skills required
- Strong work ethic with a client service focus
- 1 year experience in recruiting/sales preferred
- Law firm experience preferred
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to work well independently and on a team
- Strong integrity and ability to exercise good judgement
- Consistent and punctual attendance
Hourly range: $28.84 - $38.46
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
