IFS Industries Inc is Hiring a Remote Territory Sales Manager

Description

IFS Industries is a manufacturer and worldwide distributor of high-performance adhesives, coatings and additives for a wide variety of industrial applications.

The Territory Sales Manager covers the Southeast territory (primarily GA, FL, AL). This territory is full of sales potential working with manufacturers. We are looking for a creative, hard-working individual who is looking to gain experience selling a comprehensive solution to multiple stakeholders. The position is expected to grow and retain IFS market share and customer base in the assigned area of responsibility. The Sales Professional is expected to demonstrate an ability to communicate and influence at all levels; be technically competent and independently able to manage demonstrations and technical problem-solving; focus on growth, optimize price and profitability; be accountable for delivering results. Must be a team player!!

The Territory Sales Manager responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Accountable for delivering annual business results, aligned with business plan, sales, CM and volume.
  • Growth – focuses effort on delivering growth and maintains existing business.
  • Negotiates - pricing and margin (aligned with the business) using value selling.
  • Drive customer intimacy by delivering IFS value proposition tailored to meet the needs of the customer.
  • Use predictive analytics to anticipate current and future customer needs.
  • Promote, quantify and expertly sell value, which differentiates IFS in the market and adds value to our customers.
  • Consistently deliver value to our customers to realize customer loyalty and minimize erosion.
  • Provide insight to the customer through expert application knowledge in the respective industry. 
  • Promote and sell products and technology thereby enhancing our position in the market as an innovative leader.
  • Independently technically support the customer for standard needs, including running a product demonstration and line audits
  • Identify, develop and close new business opportunities and communicate forecasting needs to the business.
  • Intimately know the territory/industry, including developing new business pipeline
  • Manage time by balancing effort between existing business and new business pipeline.
  • Travels frequently to support customers – must be efficient with time and travel with purpose.
  • Provide timely communication via phone, email etc. 
  • Understands competitive landscape and how to position IFS for advantage.
  • Provide voice of the customer feedback into the organization
  • Ability to create and deliver customer tailored presentations.
  • Creates advantage through deep understanding of customer needs and accelerates sales process by selecting the right opportunities.
  • Has a broad understanding of markets and industry, and frequently weaves knowledge into conversations with customers. 

Requirements

  • Previous sales experience in adhesives required.
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
  • Experience in territory management.
  • Good prospecting skills. 
  • Strong Interpersonal skills. 
  • Negotiation and critical thinking skills
  • Must have excellent relationship management skills. 
  • Driver's license (Required)
