IFS INDUSTRIES a leading manufacturer of adhesives, coatings and polymers has an exciting opportunity for a hands on, motivated leader for our 3rd Shift Production Supervisor role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing the day-to-day operation, quality, and safety functions in the department.
- Responsible for the coordination of staffing, materials, quality control, and maintenance to meet expected productivity.
- Maintain operations in compliance with SOP’s, company policies and OSHA regulations.
- Provide process guidance and technical troubleshooting support to production personnel in order to maintain a high level of productivity and quality.
- Ability to understand and operate manufacturing equipment/process in the Polyurethane production area.
- Work closely with management staff regarding productivity, quality, and employee performance.
- Ensure good housekeeping is adhered to and maintained in all work areas.
- Any other duties as they arise.
Requirements
EXPERIENCE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS:
- A minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Must be available to work 3rd Shift (11pm-7am).
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage, lead, and motivate a team.
- Basic knowledge of OSHA, State, and Federal employee regulations
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
