Apply Job Type Full-time Description DescriptionWith general supervision, provide routine administrative support to department.Essential FunctionsCreate and edit correspondence, presentations, and reports from rough drafts to completion ensuring accuracy of spelling, grammar, etc.Screen telephone calls and route to the appropriate department/personOpen, review, and distribute mail throughout the department to ensure mail is received by the addresseeMaintain department's records/files to ensure accurate record keeping, security, and confidentiality of filesMaintain calendar(s), schedule meetings and appointments, and arrange travel and hotel accommodations as necessary to ensure effective time management Perform confidential administrative functions such as assembling reports or proposals for staff, customers, or outside agenciesMaintain and order the department's office supplies, forms, brochures, and/or advertising/sales materials Requirements Job Specifications Typically has the following skills or abilities: One to two years of administrative experience with at least one year providing Administrative supportDemonstrated ability to successfully perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentProficient with Microsoft WordWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of desktop publishingStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to type, proofread, revise, and edit up to 75% of the timeMonitor and track expenses within budget guidelines
