Ibex is Hiring a Recruiter Near Pittsburgh, PA

Overview

Ibex is seeking a focused and results-oriented Recruiter to join our team.

The Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and testing, qualified candidates and meeting headcount requirements for a variety of contact center programs for ibex. The Recruiter works closely with various members of the ibex Recruiting team throughout the U.S. and throughout the world. The Recruiter is responsible for development and implementation of recruitment strategies for the contact center and implements a variety of recruiting methods including advertising, community networking, and creative development of diverse recruiting sources. The Recruiter also partners with local employment entities to facilitate large-scale recruitments.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize job boards, social media, networking and internal recruiting tools to source and fill open positions with highly qualified talent.
  • Ensure alignment of recruiting activities with business goals and hiring objectives.
  • Perform targeted candidate searches; increase applicant flow via internet job boards, employee referrals, local advertising and social networks.
  • Consult with leadership, operations and training teams to understand and carry out targeted recruiting campaigns.
  • Review and screen resumes.
  • Conduct phone screens and skills assessments.
  • Host on-site interviews, job fairs and informational sessions.
  • Responsible for filling a minimum number of new hires on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Administer background & drug screening paperwork to applicants; process and document results.
  • Conduct new hire orientation.
  • Report daily on the recruiting activities, challenges and strategies.

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or College Coursework in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Recruiter or in a Human Resource role preferred, including recruiting responsibilities.
  • Experience in a call center environment is a plus, but not required.
  • Preferred experience in high-volume recruiting.
  • Experience with Luceo or similar applicant tracking system is desired.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws regarding employment and hiring practices.

  • Professional communication style, presentation and solid business acumen.
  • Ability to maintain a high sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy and details.
  • Acts with high integrity, including handling confidential and sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated organization skills. Must be comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Computer and internet savvy; Basic computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Skype.

Work and Schedule Requirements

The primary function of this position is to hire candidates for a variety of positions in a call center environment. This requires the regular use of a phone, computer, and a variety of office equipment. Events such as job fairs and informational sessions may require standing or sitting for long periods of time. While the schedule is generally Monday through Friday with hours sometime between 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, candidates must be able to work evenings and weekends, as required. Qualified candidates must also be able to travel occasionally.
