Job Title: Director of Human Resources

Overview:
The Hyatt Regency Greenville, SC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources to oversee all aspects of HR operations. Reporting directly to the Vice President of HR, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and implementing various HR functions, including benefits administration, employee relations, compliance, training, staffing development, and more. Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration: Manage and administer employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and coordinate open enrollment processes.
Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns. Address and resolve employee relations issues promptly and effectively, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
FMLA and Leave of Absence Management: Oversee the administration of FMLA and other leave programs. Provide guidance to employees regarding leave eligibility, documentation, and return-to-work processes.
Training and Development: Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance. Collaborate with department managers to identify training needs and deliver effective training solutions.
Compliance Reports: Prepare and submit compliance reports as required by federal, state, and local regulations. Stay informed about changes in employment laws and ensure organizational compliance.
Corrective Action: Advise management on appropriate disciplinary actions and corrective measures. Ensure consistency and fairness in disciplinary processes while upholding company policies and values.
Staffing Development: Develop strategies to attract, retain, and develop top talent. Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, participate in recruitment efforts, and facilitate employee onboarding processes.
HR Administration: Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including record-keeping, recruiting, onboarding, policy implementation, and HRIS management. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data confidentiality.
Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with organizational goals. Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on HR-related matters.
