Job description
Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer, the Sr. Director Human Resources is responsible for strategic planning, directing, and managing all human resources (HR) functions. This includes organizational development, recruitment and talent acquisition, retention, employee relations, compliance, training and development, employee benefits and compensation, workers compensation and leave administration, performance management, and the HR budget.
The Sr. Director Human Resources ensures the values and beliefs of St. John’s Community Health are reflected throughout the organization by developing strategies to engage staff throughout SJCH including refining the culture of the organization to ensure employees have a sense of belonging to the organization and are committed to its work.

Responsibilities :
Manage HR functions, policies, programs, procedures, processes, records, data, and budget. Create and implement an HR business plan on an annual basis; monitor and report on progress quarterly. Manage HR initiatives with senior leadership for implementation using a collaborative process.
Manage department employees: coach, train, and monitor their work; provide feedback to increase knowledge, productivity, skills, and abilities.
