Job Summary:
The Director of Administration and Human Resources oversees all aspects of administrative functions and human resources management within the organization. This role is pivotal in developing and implementing policies, procedures, and programs that foster a positive work environment, support employee development, and ensure efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Human Resources Management:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business objectives.
- Oversee the recruitment and selection process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding of new employees.
- Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and performance management.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations and keep abreast of industry trends and best practices.
2. Administration:
- Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Oversee facilities management, including office space planning, maintenance, and security.
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement activities, negotiating contracts and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
3. Employee Development and Training:
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Facilitate performance appraisal processes and career development planning.
- Support employee wellness initiatives and promote a healthy work-life balance.
4. Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Develop and implement safety and security protocols to protect employees and company assets.
- Manage risk assessment and mitigation strategies, including insurance coverage and emergency preparedness.
5. Strategic Planning and Reporting:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop HR and administrative strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide regular reports and analysis on key HR and administrative metrics to inform decision-making.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute expertise on human capital management and administrative processes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- 5 years of progressive experience in human resources management and administration.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven leadership abilities and strategic thinking.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
