Job Title: Human Resources Consultant

HR Alliance, LLC is a trusted human resources partner, helping small to mid-sized companies navigate the potentially confusing and difficult world of HR by providing guidance and services. HR Alliance, LLC minimizes costs, increases productivity, and reduces risks by providing regulatory compliance services, training and development services, HR audits, talent management services, and more. We provide all the support of a fully staffed human resources department at a fraction of the cost.

*This position will work remote, however, all qualified candidates must be located in the greater Louisville, KY area to be considered.*

Job Responsibilities:

  • Partner with HR leadership to manage multiple clients and projects at the same time with varying degrees of responsibility and client interaction.
  • Assist with development of HR policies, handbooks, and procedures for clients.
  • Provide day-to-day HR support in the areas of compensation administration, employee engagement, employee relations, learning & development, legal compliance, measuring & reporting, performance management (including the proper use of discipline or other corrective actions and/or policy-practice interpretation) and talent acquisition.
  • Manage compliance reporting including FMLA claims, unemployment claims, AAP, EEOC reporting, worker’s compensation, I-9 audits, HIPAA compliance, etc.
  • Assist with Benefits Administration, Payroll Administration, and Payroll & HRIS Implementation for our clients.
  • Partner with HRA recruiter to assist with non-exempt and exempt outsourced recruiting for our clients from developing a recruitment strategy to onboarding new hires.
  • Identify and diagnose issues proactively and develop, recommend and implement solutions that enhance employee engagement/experience and business results in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3 years of HR generalist experience required. 1 years of recruiting experience preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or willing to complete within a year.
  • Ability to manage highly confidential information.
  • Exceptional project management skills and high attention to detail.
  • Must demonstrate a proper sense of urgency, decisiveness, integrity, and ability to make appropriate decisions.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, databases, and HRIS/payroll computer software
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must have the ability to show empathy while remaining unbiased.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to pivot quickly to support multiple clients at the same time.
  • Must have excellent written/verbal communication skills.
  • Must have the ability to interact and work effectively with all employees representing every level of the organization.
