Hit Fit SF is Hiring a Sales Manager Near San Francisco, CA

Hit Fit SF, a landmark in the San Francisco fitness scene that’s been around since 2007 is looking to grow their business. After surviving COVID and getting back to a profitable level we are now looking for a hungry, motivated Sales Manager (SM) to help elevate our business to the next level! The right candidate will work directly with our owner / founder, General Manager, and our Social Media Manager to help oversee the growth of our membership sales at our two locations.

This position is full-time, with a generous salary and the potential for a large end-of-year bonus based on performance.

Candidates should be open to working both morning and evening shifts as well as some weekend hours (for a total of about 45 hours weekly) for at least 4-6 months until we see the growth we need. Afterwards, you will be able to set more consistent hours for yourself.

We are looking for someone who knows how to chase targets that are set for them. Someone who can implement and oversee strategies designed to achieve targets. Having prior sales management or front desk experience at a fitness center or a spa is a huge plus.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working the front desk at both locations during peak shifts to cultivate and make daily membership sales.
  • Offering first-class customer service to all of our existing clients and to anyone who walks through our doors.
  • Working with and overseeing our other sales team members with an emphasis on motivating them to be the best that they can be.
  • Helping to manage and oversee social media promotions of classes, special programs, and membership deals. (You will work closely with our incredibly talented Social Media Manager)
  • Reporting to the owner on any potential member prospects.
  • Work directly with the owner and the General Manager daily.
  • Gathering sales data and compiling reports to track goal progress
  • Keeping track of client accounts

The right candidate will:

  • Be motivated to learn about the intricacies of our current sales strategies
  • Be personable, friendly and work well in team settings
  • Have excellent customer service skills
  • Have social media promotion skills/experience
  • Have experience working at a manager or assistant manager position in a gym or spa environment (we are willing to train the right person)
  • Be able to start on or around April 1
