Hinds Hospice, one of the most well-known and well-respected nonprofit agencies in California’s Central Valley and a pioneer in the practice of hospice and palliative care, is seeking a Human Resources Associate for 6 months on a temporary assignment to join our team.
The Human Resources Associate utilizes working knowledge of human resource practices to assist with human resources administration and department projects and project management. Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, utilizes comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local laws to assist in all areas of HR, with an emphasis in HRIS management, records compliance and management, benefits administration, credentials management, workers’ compensation, and leave of absence compliance.

When patients' symptoms become too complicated to be cared for in their home, the Hinds Hospice home in Fresno offers around the clock nursing care. The Hinds Hospice Center for Grief and Healing is unique in that it serves not only hospice families, but also the community at large with grief support services. We offer one-on-one grief counseling, group support specific to the type of loss, monthly grief mailings, or someone to listen on the phone. The news of an unborn baby being diagnosed with a life limiting condition is heartbreaking. Angel Babies offers a perinatal hospice program designed for families who have received this diagnosis, offering support and comfort during pregnancy and providing ideas for creating loving memories. Children require different care than adults, so our innovative pediatric hospice program allows for concurrent treatment along with hospice services.
