JOB DESCRIPTION.
The HR Manager is responsible for the management of day-to-day HR functions including Recruitment, Employee Relations, Staff Compensation & Benefits, Payroll, Unemployment Benefits and Workers Compensation. Responsible for providing support to the CEO in the development and implementation of sound HR best practices and legal compliance with federal, state and local guidelines
JOB COMPLEXITY.
- Responsible for managing the Harmonium 403b Retirement plan including annual audit and serves as Plan Administrator
- Ensure that job descriptions are up-to-date and accurately describe job tasks before hiring takes place and evaluations are held
- Responsible for reconciling all benefit premiums and deductions to ensure accuracy
- Consolidate and analyze information to ensure supervisor is kept current of performances regarding retirement, unemployment, workers comp and benefits
- Effectively prepare and present presentations tailored to meet a variety of audiences
MINIMUM COMPETENCIES.
- Minimum of a 4-year college degree with a concentration in human resources management, also Certificate in Human Resources Development
- Five years experience performing Human Resources functions preferably in a non-profit social services setting
- Minimum of five years of direct supervisory experience
- Ability to effectively coach and teach in order to improve knowledge and ability of others, and holds staff accountable to results
- Professional understanding of standard financial reports and data analysis
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $73,595.00 per year
