We are growing rapidly and currently in search of a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE to join our team of energetic self-starters in the Houston area.
As a BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE for GSD Construction, you will oversee business development and sales management of new and existing customers to reach company revenue goals. Your objective will be to cultivate and manage customer relationships and budgets. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of sales/account management experience with a background in new construction.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
· Manage daily customer relationships to ensure continuous sales growth and excellent customer service.
· Market and promote our process and product to new and existing commercial customers, architects, and developers.
· Manage, monitor, and analyze the financial performance of projects to ensure timeliness, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
· Study and understand market conditions and the relative strengths and weaknesses of competitors’ products, services, policies, tendencies, pricing, etc.
· Obtain referrals.
· Identify, establish, and manage strategic relationships to leverage significant long-term business opportunities.
· Promote and contribute to a working atmosphere across all divisions that results in maintaining strong cooperation, efficiency, and team work.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
· Bachelor's degree or more than two years of related experience.
· Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
· A keen construction background.
· Intermediate personal computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
· Team-oriented and collaborative attitude.
· Exceptional core values and integrity.
· Self-motivation and drive to succeed.
