Purpose

The purpose of the Account Manager role is to assist with growing the HVAC and Plumbing business within the Service Department at Gray Mechanical. They will communicate with current and potential new clients to determine opportunities and develop long-lasting partnerships. As a member of the Sales Team, one must be able to act as a liaison between the customer and internal members of the Service Department to ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service. They will be responsible for quoting, estimating, and following up on all opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Pursues relationships with potential new accounts and identifies business opportunities to upsell services/products to current and new businesses.
• Drives retention and growth among customers by understanding their business needs and helping them succeed.
• Maintains a cadence of communicating with customers to ensure client satisfaction and promote ongoing contract renewal.
• Provides sales quotes and responds to requests for proposals.
• Update and maintain customer and sales information in CRM.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure customer needs are met.
• Complete jobsite walks.
• Assist in credit and collection activities.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in business or related field is preferred.
• HVAC and/or plumbing knowledge, preferred.
• A minimum of 2 year’s experience in HVAC and/or Plumbing sales.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, while providing excellent customer service.
• Conflict management, organization, and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to travel to jobsites in and around the Greater Houston area.
