Girls Who Code is an international nonprofit organization working to close the gender gap in technology, and is leading the movement to inspire, educate, and equip students who identify as girls or nonbinary with the computing skills needed to pursue 21st century opportunities. We are seeking a certified Salesforce Administrator to join the Girls Who Code Systems Operations Team. This position will collaborate with our team of admins and developers to manage system integrations, support data management and be responsible for the overall functionality of the Salesforce instance. They will also collaborate with various department stakeholders to capture requirements, design and develop solutions utilizing the software development lifecycle and ensure user adoption through user training, and documentation.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for the Girls Who Code mission, enthusiasm for technology, strong work ethic, excellent written and spoken communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
Candidates may be fully remote, or hybrid, if they are based in the NY-metro area.
Responsibilities:
    • Responsibilities:
    • Salesforce administration, including the configuration, development, and maintenance of flows, custom objects, fields, UX components, reports, dashboards, user access, and data flow management
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, develop, test, and implement solutions adhering to SDLC best practices and project management
    • Develop, update and maintain documentation and training of Salesforce and integrated system processes, best practices, and software development specifications
    • Establish, manage and maintain relevant third-party systems and their integrations, including platforms similar to email marketing (Campaign Monitor), SMS (Mogli) and surveys (Alchemer), etc.
    • Identify production risks and areas for improvement for Salesforce and third-party systems; overseeing changes to systems, testing and collaborating with key stakeholders
    • Manage data imports and conduct regular data quality checks to ensure data integrity and support data management, data cleansing and data migration efforts
    • Provide day-to-day end-user support, helping to troubleshoot and resolve user issues and inquiries
    • Stay informed about Salesforce and third-party tool enhancements, roadmaps, releases, participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance skills and knowledge
    • Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, or a relevant field
    • Salesforce Administrator certification required; additional certifications such as Advanced Administrator or Platform App Builder a plus
    • 3 years of Salesforce Administration experience or a similar role in a technical background
    • Data management experience specifically relating to data quality assurance
    • Experience integrating third-party systems with Salesforce
    • Experience with APEX, SOQL and SQL queries a plus
    • Familiarity of relational databases (MySQL, Microsoft SQL Server, or Oracle) a plus
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience working with complex software systems alongside a team of developers
    • Experience working remotely and collaborating effectively with remote teams a plus
    • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, highly organized, and exceptional written and spoken communication skills

$88,000 - $124,000 a year

At Girls Who Code, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
