We are seeking a Paralegal / Legal Assistant to become a part of our team! We are small and busy personal injury firm that provides a relaxed enjoyable atmosphere to work. You will provide overall support to the handling of the firm's cases.
Responsibilities:
- Familiarize yourself with each case details
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents including both pleadings and discovery
- Perform electronic filing of documents with the Courts
- Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations
- Meet with clients
- Record and store client information
- Perform duties commensurate with litigation of personal injury cases
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paralegal
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Computer savvy
