The Project Manager 1 is responsible for collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, including but not limited to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Maintenance, contractors, vendors, and clients. This role is responsible to handle administrative aspects of the project from start to completion, track and monitor the project status and milestones, and ensure projects meets all standards, timelines, and budgets.
• Collaborates with management and client(s) to provide basic project management support to define project requirements, scope, and objectives that align with the company’s goals• Partners with internal and external stakeholders to determine project budgets • Facilitates effective project meetings to evaluate work and productivity• Develops a comprehensive project management workflow• Provides regular updates to internal and external stakeholders on project schedules, change proposals, and other activities • Monitors resources to improve project efficiency and maximize productivity• Maintains the project performance database to track progress and milestones• Ensures project are on track to meet codes, standards, timelines, budget requirements, etc.• Analyzes project(s) progress and notifies stakeholders to adjust timelines, as needed to achieve optimal results• Identifies potential project risks and escalates to management or required stakeholders• Assists with developing and implementing risk strategies to minimize impact and deviations from estimated budget and timelines • Builds and maintains positive relationships with external stakeholders by providing prompt responses, updates, and support• Coordinates the procurement of materials, supplies, and vendors necessary for project completion• Organize and delegate tasks to project team members to ensure successful completion• Assists with conducting any required training for project members
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or related field• 2 years of experience in project management or planning
Preferred Requirements
• Experience interpreting product documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) with attention to high-level concepts• Experience creating work plans and detailed project schedules• Experience working in a cGMP manufacturing facilities
