POSITION: Project Manager / Coordinator
LOCATION: North Carolina
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
FLSA: Exempt
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Project Manager / Coordinator role is responsible for overall project success and key elements of the project itself including project planning and scheduling, resource allocation, and staying on budget, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards and client requirements.
ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS:
· Project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed.
· Project accounting functions include budget management, issuing & receiving purchase orders and following up with vendors on delivery.
· Permitting
· Project team coordination. Depending on the project, the team could include a salesperson, architect, consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, and internal design, production, and installation personnel.
· Monitor and communicate the progress of project activities (permitting, production, installation) on a regular basis to the client.
· Visit jobsites to meet with clients or contractors, as needed, to gather details necessary for design or production, ensure site readiness, talk logistics, etc.
· Ensure all project data and documentation is complete and accurate.
· ERP or CRM experience a plus.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
· Multi-task and manage / implement multiple projects. Ability to meet critical dates using effective time management. Create project plans and timelines.
· Attention to detail a must.
· Effective communicator using modern methods and mechanisms (including proprietary database).
· Candidate must have a Valid Driver License and state required vehicle insurance.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· General understanding of construction, floor plans, fabrication, and installation.
· Solid knowledge of MS Office (word, excel) and MS Project software toolsets.
· Strong ability to align with remotely located teams
· Ability to work independently, problem solve, and meet project timelines
· Capacity to motivate, lead and boost the morale of the team
· Willingness to travel on occasion
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· A four-year bachelor’s degree in business or similar field is desired but not required in lieu of experience
· 3-5 years of experience in sign construction or similar type project environments a plus.

Based on experience, other benefits also available
