FTS is Hiring an Accounting Assistant Near Syracuse, NY
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to join our team. The Accounting Assistant will provide support to the accounting department by performing various administrative and clerical tasks. This is a full-time position with opportunities for growth and development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with payroll management, including processing timesheets and maintaining employee records
- Conduct general ledger accounting tasks, such as reconciling accounts and preparing journal entries
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Support the preparation of financial reports and statements
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial operations
- Provide administrative support to the accounting department, including filing documents and organizing records
Experience:
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, ADP, or other similar accounting software
- Familiar with AP, AR, and Bookkeeping
