Granite Real Estate Company Overview:

Our client, Granite Real Estate Group, LLC has an immediate opening, due to growth, for a Accounting Manager that specializes in commercial and residential real estate.

Granite Real Estate Group, LLC is a growing boutique commercial and residential real estate brokerage and management company. Our services include brokerage and full property management and accounting for third parties. We also do tenant improvement construction. We currently manage properties in New York and Florida and are aggressively adding to our portfolio.

Job Summary:

Maintain the accounting for client owned commercial and residential real estate including working with the property managers and tenants and reporting to the owners.

Requirements:

  • Maintain general ledgers and bank accounts for various real estate entities
  • With the property managers prepare the annual property budgets
  • Maintain property lease data base
  • Maintain rent rolls and accurate tenant billings
  • Prepare annual tenant operating expense reconciliations
  • Assist property managers monitor their property budgets
  • Respond to inquiries from clients, tenants and vendors
  • Prepare monthly property reports including financial statements
  • Prepare year end reports to the outside CPA firm to prepare the tax returns
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Prepare maintenance payroll billings for the properties

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in accounting.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience with Traverse Accounting Software or App-folio Property Manager is a plus, but not necessary
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel
  • Must have a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Able to manage priorities and workflow
  • Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently and within a group environment

Salary: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00
