Client Accounting and Advisory Services (CAAS) refers to a range of accounting and financial services provided by Bowers CPAs & Advisors. These services include outsourced CFO and accounting services including budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and strategic planning; financial statement preparation; full-service bookkeeping; vendor bill processing and payment; customer invoicing; payroll processing and tax reporting; sales tax preparation. Successful candidates will have a desire to learn and develop their career, while making a difference for their clients Job SummaryIn this role, you will be a member of our CAAS group accountable for providing CFO level advisory services including strategic financial planning, business decision support, process improvement, business systems evaluation, internal controls assessment, financial modeling, budgeting and data analysis. Requirements
Participate in marketing development and activities for the CAAS group’s services
Develop and nurture clientele
Own and manage all aspects of assigned CFO Advisory engagements from proposal to billing
Oversee management of accounting services component of assigned engagements
Advise clients regarding:
Strategic planning and direction
Financial functions within the business
Accounting processes and procedures
Internal control review
Operational consulting
Governmental regulatory compliance
Use of technology on business
Cash flow management
Qualifications
B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management
Minimum of 10 years of CFO experience with 5 years of supervisory experience
Highly degree of proficiency in IT systems and software
Comfortable being a leader
Excellent communicator
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Able to manage priorities and workflow
Commitment to excellence and high standards
